Nicuta Gairns

Nicuta Gairns AuD, M.Sc, R.Aud, Aud(C)

Nicuta graduated with a Medical Degree in Paediatrics in 1987 from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timisoara, Romania. She became a certified Otorynolaryngologist (ENT specialist) in 1994 and her special interest was Otology.

She immigrated to Canada and graduated with a Master’s degree in Audiology from the School of Audiology and Speech Sciences, University of British Columbia in 2000. Shortly after her graduation she moved to Edmonton and joined the Wild Rose Audiology Clinic.

Nicuta further expanded her knowledge in Audiology by earning a Doctorate of Audiology degree in 2007. Since 2007, Nicuta has been the owner of the Wild Rose Audiology Clinic.

Nicuta enjoys working with all age patients and feels that nothing is more rewarding than seeing a beautiful smile on a child’s face when the hearing aids are first turned on.

Rhiannon Jones

After graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a Masters of Clinical Science degree in Audiology (1997), Rhiannon began her audiology career at the Leduc hospital. In the public system she worked testing hearing for both adults and children. However, she quickly discovered her interest in hearing aid technology and aural rehabilitation. She has been part of the Wild Rose Audiology Clinic team since 1998 and thoroughly enjoys working with the teenagers she first fit as toddlers. In March 2010, Rhiannon graduated from the Arizona School of Health Sciences as a Doctor of Audiology.

Jo Kapeluck

Jo Kapeluck M.Sc, R.Aud, Aud(C)

Registered Audiologist

Jo has enjoyed practicing audiology for over 20 years in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta in both the public and private sectors. She received her Master’s Degree in Audiology in 1990 from Minot, North Dakota. As she only works part-time, the rest of her day involves her family and specifically, her children and their activities. There is never a dull moment and she enjoys every minute!

Lauren Hulecki

After growing up in Calgary and graduating from the University of Calgary with an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, Lauren moved west to study Audiology at the University of British Columbia. Throughout her Master’s degree she participated in research aimed at improving the assessment techniques for infants and children through 2 years of age. After 3 years in Vancouver, Lauren was happy to return to the blue skies and wide open spaces of Alberta by joining the team at Wild Rose Audiology Clinic in January 2010. In June 2015, Lauren graduated from the Arizona School of Health Sciences as a Doctor of Audiology.

Mayuri Hirani

Mayuri Hirani AuD, M.Sc, B.Sc, R.Aud, Aud(C)

Mayuri graduated in the UK with a Masters in Audiological Science in 2003 and has worked in Audiology in both the UK and in Edmonton, Alberta. Mayuri has worked in the public system in the UK and was part of the Wild Rose Audiology Clinic in Edmonton from 2007 – 2010. She has an interest in Paediatric Diagnostic Assessment, Paediatric Habilitation, Adult Rehabilitation and Vestibular Rehabilitation. She enjoys being part of a dynamic working environment and enjoys developing audiological services for patients. After working at Wild Rose Audiology Clinic she returned to the UK to get married. However, she missed the wonderful Edmonton winters and so has now returned permanently to Edmonton. In June 2015, Mayuri graduated from the Arizona School of Health Sciences as a Doctor of Audiology.

Ashley Barr

Ashley Barr MCI.Sc, R.Aud

Registered Audiologist

Ashley graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Masters of Clinical Sciences degree with honours in 2016. She knew early on that private practice was the right fit for her, and was extremely happy to join the Wildrose team shortly after graduation. Whether it be paediatric, adult or senior populations, Ashley looks forward to the relationships she gets to build with her patients and their families. She works hard to offer each patient individualized hearing solutions along with the necessary aural habilitation and rehabilitation services. When Ashley is not at the office, you’ll find her as an active member of the Edmonton Ukrainian Dance community both as a dancer and an instructor.

Registered Audiologist

Meet Danielle, from Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Her journey to helping others has been uniquely shaped by her own experience with hearing loss from a young age to assist others in maneuvering through a world of sound. With an undergraduate degree from MacEwan University in Edmonton and a Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Danielle brings a deep understanding of the impacts of hearing loss to her practice. Working with children, adults, and seniors, her empathy, rooted in personal experience, fosters a sense of understanding and empowerment. Join Danielle, where she combines contemporary technology and seasoned understanding to where ever you are on your hearing journey.

Danny Do

Accountant

Danny graduated from University of Alberta with an accounting major. He has been a dedicated member of our team since 2003. Danny manages insurance claims as well as third party claims for our patients. In his spare time Danny enjoys golfing, hockey, going to the gym and spending time with his son.

Chris joined Wild Rose Audiology Clinic in 2005. She has been assisting our patients and clinicians with a warm smile and cheerful attitude since then. She thoroughly enjoys working with patients and making sure that their questions and concerns are answered.

Chris loves baking and we all enjoy her yummy cookies and pies.

Lainy graduated from Reeves College in 2010 with a Medical Office Assistant diploma. She has been a part of the Wild Rose team since 2012. Lainy is the first friendly voice you hear on the phone, or smiling face when you walk in our door. She is always available to help the clients book appointments and see to their needs and concerns.When she is not ensuring the functionality of this office, she is at home spending quality time with her dog and three cats.

Qualified with an Administrative Professional Diploma from Campbell College, he’s been a pivotal addition since 2021.

Jester excels in administrative duties while also indulging in his passions for gaming, travel, and enjoying diverse cuisine with friends. His expertise helps to enrich our dynamic team, making him an invaluable asset to Wild Rose Audiology.
